The Domhoff Buildings at 4203-4200 Hamilton Avenue and 1604-1614 Chase Avenue were built in 1893 by Charles H. Domhoff (1853-1920) housing 17 apartments and 5 retail spaces. It was part of the building boom of high-end apartments that swept the country after New York's Grand Marcy Park. It was added to the National Historic Register in 1980.
