Fire Engine Company No. 20 was built in 1890 by architect Charles Fox at 1636 Chase Street when a growing community needed better emergency support. A plaque on the building commemorates the men responsible for its 1888 Ohio Register funding. The property was vacated in 1982 for the new station at 1668 Blue Rock Street.
