Echo
Reichrath Park was established in 1862 at 3720 Spring Grove Avenue by a Baden-German immigrant Frank Reichrath, 1840-1903. This was the popular pleasure resort for German Cincinnatians. The business survived the 1884 flood and passed it to his son Frank Jr. after his death in 1903. Frank Jr. operated the business until the 1920s. A 1915 advertisement in German touts Reichrath as the biggest and best picnic area for German clubs, housing two big dance halls for summer and winter celebrations.
