The School No Longer Standing

Echo

St. Patrick's School, shown here in the early 1900s, was staffed by the Sisters of Charity. Unlike their counterparts at the German St. Boniface Parish, these Sisters did not have a dedicated motherhouse and instead lived at St. Joseph's Orphanage. When the school closed in 1969, its students were transferred to St. Boniface, ending the long-standing sports rivalry between the two schools.
